WHEN IS THE REUNION?

The Walder Family Reunion will be held Friday, July 2, 2010 thru Sunday, July 4, 2010. Please see the Events page for the Activity Schedule.

WHERE WILLL THE REUNION BE HELD?

The Walder Family Reunion will be held in Ontario, California at the Ontario Airport Marriott and the picnic will be at Homer Briggs park in Ontario.

HOW MUCH DOES THE REUNION COST?

The registration cost is $85.00 per person if paid by March 31, 2010. For those that are 12 & under and 90 & over it is free. However there are three (3) EarlyBird Discounts and a payment plan schedule. Late registration is $95.00. Please see the Deadline Dates page.

Yes, just click on Pay Registration and select the category you wish to pay for. This is a secure site.

IF I PAY ONLINE, DO I STILL NEED TO MAIL MY REGISTRATION FORM?

Paying online is not actually registering. If you pay online you may do one of the following to register: 1) Mail in your registration form and check "Pay Online" or 2) Go to the Registration page on the website to register. Also fill in the RSVP Survey.

WHY DO I HAVE TO RSVP & REGISTER?
RSVP is a survey only and will give the committee an idea of how many people will be attending so they can plan accordingly. Your name will also show up on the "Who's Coming" page. Registration is when you are making a committment to attend the reunion.

HOW WILL I GET UPDATED INFORMATION ABOUT THE REUNION?

Updates will be posted on the website periodically. There will also be reminder postcards going out every few months.  If you do not have internet access, you may contact us and let us know you prefer to receive information by mail or fax.

MY ADDRESS & PHONE NUMBER HAVE CHANGED, WHAT DO I DO?

Please inform us of any address, phone or name changes immediately so our records stay current. You may do so on the website under "Change of Address", "Contact Us", send an email to walderconnection@aol.com or mail in your information. You may find a Change of Information Form under Forms on the website.

IF I CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE REUNION, CAN I GET A REFUND?

Registration fees will be refunded less a $25.00 administration fee for each person paid provided cancellation is submitted no later than May 15, 2010.  After that date registration fees are non-refundable.  Donations are non-refundable.

WHEN WILL I GET MY REGISTRATION PACKAGE AND T-SHIRT?
You will receive your registration package and your T-shirt at the reunion on Friday, July 2, 2010 during registration in the Hospitality room from 9am - 9pm.

IF I DON'T ATTEND, CAN I STILL GET A T-SHIRT?
Yes. You may order a T-shirt and it will be mailed to you, just add $3.50 shipping charge. If you prefer we can give it to someone that is attending the reunion to bring to you.

DO I HAVE TO STAY AT THE MAIN HOTEL?
No. There will be a list of other hotels in the area on the website. However, you will not get the discounted Reunion rate at other hotels.

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE?
Yes. The hotel provides a shuttle that will transport you to and from the airport. It will also take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel and pick you up. Transportation will be available for the picnic as well.

I WANT TO DONATE $20.00 TOTAL FOR 2 LOVED ONES BUT I DON'T SEE A $20.00 CATEGORY. HOW CAN I DO IT?
You can select the $10.00 category and choose quantity of 2.

CAN I USE MY DONATIONS AS PART OF MY REGISTRATION?
No. The registration fees are already designated to cover cost of the banquet, picnic and family directory. Donations will be used to cover additional expenses associated with the reunion. Please see the Donations Form under Forms.

CAN I PAY FOR REGISTRATION NOW?
Yes. You may register at anytime. The earlier the better. Also, if you pay earlier you can take advantage of the EarlyBird Discounts and not be burdened with the cost of registration later when you are budgeting for travel and hotel room costs.

WHY IS THE BANQUET ON SUNDAY NIGHT?
Saturday night was not available, another reunion family had already reserved Saturday for their banquet. Also, most people will have Monday off work and/or school. Those that are flying will probably find cheaper flights going back on Monday as opposed to Sunday, which is a holiday.

IF I LOST ONE OF MY FORMS, HOW DO I GET ANOTHER ONE?
If you have access to the internet, you may go on website under "Forms" and click on the form you need to download, then print it. Or you can contact us and we will either mail you the form or we can fax it to you.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR THE REUNION?
For the picnic we will be wearing our family T-shirts. The banquet will be semi-formal and we have selected black & white as the dress colors for the evening. The rest of the time there is no dress code.
